Description:
“Thirst to come true” is based on  audio recordings from lectures by Meraba Mamardashvili. The lectures can be heard in the background, but it’s just not an audio track. The Georgian philosopher’s thoughts, ideas, truths and quests are the base and meaning of the whole performance. This is a quite comical story about a human in the world, about their thirst to be fulfilled by just being.

Meraba Mamardashvili (1930 - 1990) is a Georgian philosopher from the Soviet times, sometimes referred to as the Socrates of Georgia. He didn’t write many publications, so most of his intellectual heritage is written down and recorded in the form of lectures.
