This adaptation of Franz Kafka’s famous novel uses puppet theatre techniques to explore the tragedy of the “little man.” Themes of misunderstanding, disappointment in loved ones, and the struggle to find one’s place in life lie at its core. This production marks the directorial debut of puppet theatre actor Rihards Zelezņevs, and also serves as the diploma work of artist Signija Joce - resulting in an unusual and striking performance that truly deserves our attention.
